（初級）

（１）体と顔を相手（子ども）にむけ、相手（こども）の顔を見る。

（２）こどもの言葉に静かに耳を傾ける。

（３）相手が言い終わるのを待つ。

（４）あいづちをうちながら聞く。

（中級）

（ａ）子どもが言ったことを、言葉で返す。

　　（例）「そうか。○○（子どもの名前）は、～したんだ。」

（ｂ）（傾聴タイムのときは）子どもに指示やアドバイスをしない。

（上級）

（Ａ）子どもの気持ちに名前をつけてやる。

　　（例）「それは、がっかりしたね」「恥ずかしかっただろうね」

（Ｂ）子どもの望みに、想像の中で、返す。

　　（例）「お父さんも魔法でアイスクリームが好きなだけ出せたら、すごくうれしいと思うよ」

できるだけ子どもからの話しかけがあったときに、上のパターンで返してみる。
